The Confluence

Canyonlands National Park, Utah
The confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers is the heart of the Colorado Plateau. The Green River drops in from the upper center of the photograph and joins the Colorado River, coming in from the lower right of the photograph. The Colorado River continues on towards Cataract Canyon, just beyond the upper left of the image. This is a magical place.
